A Student’s-eye View of the London Book Fair

This week, I went to the London Book Fair with the other students on my MSc Publishing course. The annual fair is a chance for everybody involved in the world of publishing to network, do business, and discover innovative ideas.

As a student, I quickly felt out of place. I felt the same as I have done at work experience: like an annoying child continually bothering the adults. It may not be professional to admit to that, but that is how I felt. London was a completely different world to me, where the streets are swarming with people and a Panini costs £6.50.
